This family holiday home is situated in the Urbanisation of La Herrada,/ Los Montesions, and is about 45 minutes’ drive from Alicante Airport.
There is access to a lovely swimming pool and several children play areas close by. A good-sized supermarket and a bar/café are just a few minutes’ walk away.
For more choice of places to eat, it is a 15 – 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive into the nearest town of Los Montesinos where you will find a wide variety of Shops, Bars, Cafés and Restaurants.

The property is registered with the Spanish Authorities and has a Tourist Licence, so you can be sure that it meets all your needs for a comfortable, safe and enjoyable holiday.
Trips out can be arranged with Viajes Rosa Tours, who pick up at the local Dialprix supermarket.
Bedding and sheets towels are provided. You will find an ironing board and iron in one of the wardrobes, and all bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. There is also a hairdryer and drawers for extra storage. THIS Villa benefits from a balcony off one of the Bedrooms and patio for sun worshippers, complete with table, chairs and loungers. There’s the use of a communal pool and safe play area for children. Indoors there are two sofas, a dining table and chairs, The Kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, fan-oven and hob. all bedding and towels are included (not beach towels)., Sorry but no pets, and no smoking (except outside). There is a supermarket and bar within easy walking distance. All you will need for a truly great holiday.
Golfing: We are well positioned for golfing breaks, as we are within a 20 min drive are six excellent local courses.
You will need to book in advance usually by email from the UK. The courses are: La Finca, Las Ramblas, Campoamor, La Marquesa, Bella vista and Villa Martin, it’s also possible to play La Manga but this is about 1 hour by car. Over all there are many clubs within an hour or so, check the internet for details of all courses along the Costa Blanca.
You might need proof of handicap at some courses, min 28 for men and 36 for women, but some will allow you to pay an insurance to play. (I have never been asked for proof as yet) Buggies and in some cases, clubs can be hired.
Spring and Autumn are good times to play as the climate is ideal. Prices range from e45-e60/round plus approx. e25 for a buggy. Special offers are available now more than ever.
Recreation: The local beaches of Guardamar & La Mata are stunning blue flag standard with fine white sand and lots of beach sports available. Along the beach you will find cafes and bars and, on the beach, vendors selling everything from ice creams to fresh fruit, parking is free along this coast at nearly all the beaches, to the north the coastline tends to be rocky so keep south for sandy.
Within 10 min of our apartment is a fantastic aqua park well worth spending a day at also locally is a Safari park
Go karting, boat trips and Nature reserve, which is a must for bird watchers as many migratory birds stop off to feed. This is where the biggest flock of Flamingo I’ve ever seen are to be found, and there are observation towers to view them from.
Nightlife: Evenings offer a wide choice, from sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine or a beer to strolling into the village and enjoying a variety of restaurants, tapas bars and cafes. A taxi ride away is the town of Torrevieja which has many restaurants and tapas, a casino, bars and clubs open until the small hours, but please be considerate of the neighbours if returning late.
